Burial will be in Yantis City Cemetery under direction of Lowe Funeral Home, Quitman.
Mr. Hollis died May 6, 2007, in Quitman.
He was born April 14, 1960, in Tyler, and lived most of his life in Tyler; 18 years in Golden and the last year in Quitman. He did assembly work for Opportunities of Tyler, and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Lottie Tidwell, J.W. and Donna Hollis.
Survivors include his parents, Richard and Charlotte Hollis, Quitman; brother, Larry Hollis, Quitman; and sister, Lisa Childress, Tyler.
Pallbearers are Rodney Allen, Robbie Allen, Hershel Brasher, Rickie Hollis, Bennie Ellington, Shane Rose, Matt Goodson and Horace Wallace.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111Unviersity Blvd., Tyler; or Lake Fork Baptist Church Building Fund.
