Laura June Rohrich Barker was born on June 3, 1951 to John and Mary Lou (Gilmer) Rohrich in Los Angeles, California. She departed this life on August 29, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years.

Laura married Richard John Barker Jr. on January 30, 1976 in Cerritos, California and from their union came two sons. Laura was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. In 1995 she and family moved to Oklahoma.

Laura loved sunflowers and working in her flower garden. She also loved to sew and make clothes for her family. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. The family loved to camp, and although Laura didn’t particularly love it, she always tolerated those camping trips and loved the time spent with her family. She loved taking walks around her neighborhood and she loved animals, especially cats and dogs. Laura was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Survived by her husband; two sons; daughter-in-law; two grandchildren; and sister and husband.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
