Virginia Beach - Reginald Scott Stewart, 50, of the 700 block of Pine Lake Drive departed this life April 19, 2007.

Born in North Carolina, he was employed by Total Building Maintenance Company for over 5 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church Gilmerton, where he was active in the Pastor Aide.

He is predeceased by his parents, Samuel and Elizabeth Stewart. Survivors include his wife, Gloria J. Stewart of Virginia Beach; seven daughters, Catasha Stewart of Portsmouth, Kesha Coleman of Emporia, VA, Shakima Cosby of Brooklyn, NY, Edith Hobbs, Elizabeth Hobbs, Paulette Hobbs and Kristen Stewart all of Virginia Beach; two sons, Samuel Hobbs of Virginia Beach and Nicholas Evans (Tina) of Camp Le Jeune, NC; mother-in-law, Clarie Parker of Emporia, VA; four grandchildren, one stepdaughter, one stepson, four sisters, two brothers, two foster sisters, two brothers-n-law, two sisters-in-law, three aunts, two uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Gilmerton. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Tuesday from 2pm - 7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
