Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Gilbert, 72, of Middleway, WV. died Wednesday, August 29, 2o18 at Mercy Hospital, Baltimore, MD.
Mrs. Gilbert, born in Chesapeake Beach, MD; was the daughter of the late Charles Bowen and Grace Bowen. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Bowen.
She retired after 29 years as a clerk at the Country Road Store in Middleway. She was a member of Middleway United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas D. Gilbert of the home; daughters, Catriona Dawson (Gaalen) and Victoria Cadigan (Mike) all of Martinsburg; grandchildren, Tyler Dawson, Richard Dawson and Abigail Cadigan; granddog, Rosie Jean; sister, Evelyn Krouse (John) of Florida; sister-in-law, Gertrude Bowen of Maryland.
