Edgar Dean Cooper, 59, of Havre De Grace, Maryland passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at his home. He was born on September 27, 1958 in Elizabethtown, KY and is the son of Gisela (Kapp) Cooper of Ozark, MO and the late Lowell K. Cooper.
Dean graduated from Carlisle High School in 1977. He owned and operated "Your Choice Home Improvement" in Havre De Grace for nearly 40 years. Dean was dedicated to creating nontraditional stained-glass artwork and had actively participated in the annual Havre De Grace Art Show for the past few years. Dean also had a passion for crabbing and woodworking.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Christina E. Cooper of Stewartstown, PA, one son, Dean L. Cooper of Edgewood, MD, two sisters; Doris Brown of Lansing, KS and Claudia "Dia" Hodges of Ozark, MO, three grandchildren; Lillie, Joseph and Donovan Cooper, two aunts, Claudia "Joan" Eby of Carlisle and Yvonne Line of Lancaster and several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will begin at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 followed by graveside services at 1:30 p.m. in Westminster Memorial Gardens, 1159 Newville Rd., Carlisle with Ed Dyche officiating. Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, Carlisle is in charge of the arrangements. www.Since1853.com.
