This infant child, a Daughter of J. R. & Mamie Beddard can be located on cemeterycensus.com for this particular cemetery, it was part of a 2007 survey by William Kittrell. In this same survey, William transcribed a Gather J. Edwards with almost identical dates 3 Mar 1897-16 Sep 1897 with parents named as J. H. & Mamie Edwards. Is this the same child? Searches on ancestry.com have yet to reveal an answer, hopefully, family can clarify that would know.

One possibility that comes to mind is when searching Abner Edwards and Sallie Jane Nelson they had a son named Jame Robert Edwards who was married to an Almeda McGowan, could these be the parents ? Abner and Sallie are buried in this cemetery. James R and Almeta are buried in the McGowan Cemetery.
