Inez C. Burgess Obituary

ALPINE, UTAH -- Inez Thurza Clark Burgess, 86, died Saturday, May 12, 1979, of natural causes at her home in Alpine.

She was born on Dec. 28, 1892 to Frederic Charles Clark and Angelia Vance. On Feb, 3, 1915, she married Edward W. Burgess in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Burgess died on Sept. 7, 1969.

A member of the LDS Church, Mrs. Burgess was active in the auxiliaries of the church and was a active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.

She is survived by two sons, Ross Clark Burgess and Van Edward Burgess, both of Alpine; one daughter, Mrs. Robert D. (Ula) Burgess Hemingway, Bakersfield, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Alpine LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Anderson and Sons Mortuary, American Fork, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the chapel one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Alpine City Cemetery.
