In the Lady Chapel of Lanercost Priory is the tomb of the infant Lady Elizabeth Dacre Howard. Elizabeth Dacre Howard was the daughter of George and Rosalind Howard, owners of Lanercost Priory. Elizabeth died on 17th July 1883, aged 4 months. The effigy was sculpted by Sir Edgar Boehm (1834-90)
