Julie Ann Spackman Murray passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of June 12, 2017. She was born Jan. 21, 1953. She was the daughter of Reed LaVell and Thailia Beattie Spackman.
Julie lived her entire life in Richmond. She married the love of her life, Terrell R. Murray, on Feb. 16, 1973. They are the parents of two sons, Shane T. Murray and Jarrod S. Murray. As a family they liked to go camping in the summer with family and friends up High Creek, Glendale, and the best was the hunting camp up Logan Canyon.
Everyone loved Julie. She was so sweet and a delight to be around. She had a wicked sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was very talented. She could sing, she was a great cook, she made beautiful crafts, and she was an incredible homemaker. She retired in 2015 from the Cache County School District where she had worked many years as a cook at North Cache. She loved her work and all the good friends she made there. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was currently the Relief Society chorister.
Julie was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was her greatest treasure and joy. Julie, we love you to the moon and back!
She is survived by her husband Terrell; her sons, Shane (Jamie) of Tremonton, Jarrod (Jennifer) of Boise; her grandchildren, Tanner, Kellen, Dallen and Emma; and her sister Lynette Spackman of Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reed and Thailia.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 17, at noon at the Richmond Stake Center chapel, 135 W. Main St., with a viewing from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. A viewing will be held Friday, June 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the same location. Interment will be in the Richmond City Cemetery. Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.nelsonfuneralhome.com.
