Margie Louise Brooks was born June 25, 1929 in Seminole County, GA, the daughter of Tom Brooks and Mary Eva Comerford Brooks. She retired as a Licensed Practicing Nurse from the Decatur County Health Department after many years of faithful service. Louise was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Taylor loved spending time with her family around the table that was graced with her wonderful cooking. She enjoyed canning fruits and vegetables that would later be shared with friends and family. Her four legged pal Rocky was a source of happiness in the later years and could be counted on to provide her comfort and laughter with his antics. Favorite family memories include times spent in the great outdoors camping and fishing.

Survivors include her son, Charles Taylor and his wife, Linda, of Lake Seminole, GA; her brother, Jimmy Brooks and his wife, Tina, of Ochlocknee, GA; her sister, Lois Barwick of Bainbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Chuck Taylor and Carla Godwin; her great-grandchildren, Gage Taylor, Jonah Taylor, and Jed Taylor. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ridgeway Taylor; her son, Randy Taylor; and her sister, Mary Alice Rackowski.

The Taylor family would like to thank her caregiver, Viola Griffin for her wondrous love and support.
