Jill is survived by her two daughters. Jill is also survived by her siblings.
Jill was previously married for 30 years to David Smith, and they resided in Northfield in a family home where Jill raised her two daughters.
Jill was known to enjoy thrift shopping and had a keen eye for antiques, and was always adding tins and pottery to her collections. She loved wildflowers and often had a bouquet on her kitchen table, where friends were always welcome to sit, talk and have beer or coffee. Jill loved cats, she loved riding her Harley Davidson, and silver bracelets; her daughters fondly remember her saying she loved the sound that her bracelets made. She enjoyed spending time at the ocean with her children and they had a special mermaid bond. Jill considered herself a child of the Moon and had a strong connection to the Native American culture.
Jill spent many years providing in-home child care and she was fondly known as “Aunt Jill.” Known as Nana to her grandchildren, she spent as much time as she could with them and she will be greatly missed.
Interment at the Arch Memorial Cemetery in Northfield.
