Larry E. Hubbard, 70, of Chatham, IL died at 5:15 pm, Monday, August 27, 2018 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. He was born on September 8, 1947 in Carrollton, IL to Stanley and Hazel (Ridings) Hubbard. He married Ada "Babe" Angle on December 18, 1971.

He is survived by his wife; Ada "Babe" Hubbard; one daughter, Stacey Wallace of Chatham, IL; one son, Doug Hubbard of Springfield, IL and his canine companions, Smokey and Bandit.

Larry was a United States Army veteran serving in Germany with heavy artillery. He was the valedictorian from Greenfield High School for his graduating class. He earned double bachelor’s degrees for mathematics and computers science. He received an MBA from the University of Illinois – Springfield. He was also in Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities.

Larry worked for CMS with the State of IL and Levi Ray and Shoup for many years. He retired as a consultant with State of Illinois.

Graveside Service: 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Camp Butler National Cemetery with Pastor Brooks Wilson officiating and where military honors will be conducted.
