Miss Bridget Kelley’s Funeral Is Conducted
Funeral for Miss Bridget Kelly, 99, who died Saturday night at St. Joseph’s hospital where she had been a resident for the last 10 years, was held at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning at the home of her niece, Miss Kate Mayme Kelly, 401 Seminary avenue, and at 9:30 o’clock at the Holy Trinity church.
The Rev. Stephen S. Moore celebrated a requiem high mas and preached the funeral sermon. Rev. Father Harney of New York city was present for the service. Rev. Father Moore, Rev. Father Harney and the Rev. Father J. F. Fitzpatrick of Merna were in charge of services at the grave. The musical services were in charge of Mrs. Kate Donahue Welch who sang “Beautiful Isle of Somewhere” and “Rest to the Weary.”
The pallbearers were J. D. Larkin, James Travis, M. J. Boylan, John Cleary, Patrick O’Rourke and Michael Killion. Miss Nellie and Miss Katie Kelly and John McGowan of Ulysses, Neb., were among those present from out of town.
