Grace Ann Posey Muse was born on July 23, 1941 in Smyrna, Tennessee to Mamie Watkins Posey and Samuel Henry Posey. She transitioned from this earthly life on August 27, 2018.

Grace was educated in the Public Schools of Rutherford County. She graduated in 1959 from Holloway High School.

Grace at an early age she accepted Christ at Silver Spring Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Leroy McKinley and became a faithfully member until her health failed. She served as President, Vice President and Secretary of the choir, Organizer of the Youth Choir, Nurses' Guild, Sunday School Secretary, Church Secretary, served on the Beautification Committee, Chairperson of Operation Love where she would send supplies to military troops and former member o fO.E.S. Venus Chapter # 61.

Grace married Richard Lee Muse on June 14, 1980.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Muse; her parents, Samuel and Mamie Posey; grandmothers, Mattie Watson who raised her from birth, after the death of her mother when she was two weeks old, and Grace Posey Browning; grandfathers, Robert Watkins, John Watson and Will Posey; two devoted sisters, Mary Posey Ellis and Mattie Posey Rucker; devoted brother, Charlie Posey; devoted nephew, John (Nikki) Ellis; and devoted niece, Laris Frazier.

Grace leaves to cherish her memory three devoted nieces, Taryn (Charles) Lillard, Rene Ellis and Belinda Ellis; three devoted nephews, Kelvin Posey whom she raise from age six, Sam (Dionne) Ellis and Harold (Erica) Rucker; four devoted great nieces, Rokeita Henry, Markeshia (Mario) Dixon, Renisha Brown and Shekyca Moore; five devoted great nephews, Johnathan Brooks whom she raised, Marcus (Daniell e) Ellis, Darrington (Tierney) and Alexander Frazier and Keenan Ellis; very devoted great-great nephew, Jacari Ellis; great-great nephews, Mario Dixon Jr., Harold Rucker Jr., Nickolas Frazier, Kimora Frazier, Riley Frazier, Malach Ellis, Jayden Ellis, Elijah Ellis, Nyla Frazier, Mason Dixon and Josiah Dixon; dear friends, Ann Bass, Joyce Chrisman, Lucille Donaldson, Flora Blackman and Elizabeth Harding; play sister, Diane Richardson; a host of other family members and friends.
