John Edward Johnson

It is with great sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a great man, John Edward Johnson on April 25, 2015. John was born on February 23, 1956 in Harlingen, Texas and was a lifelong resident. He worked as a Tax Specialist for 25 years at Electronic Tax Center and 15 years at the Valley Baptist Medical Center as a Master Maintenance Technician.

John attended Harlingen High School and received two Associates Degrees from TSTI in Air Condition & Refrigeration and Chemical Technology and was also a Certified Diesel Mechanic.

John was very passionate about spending time with his family, amateur photography and also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. When he wasn't spending time outdoors; he enjoyed reading and science fiction. John was a member in good standing of the National Association of Tax Professionals.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Dorothy Johnson.
A celebration of John's life will be held at Oak Hill Event Center, San Benito, April 30, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
