Catherine Louise Snider, 81, of Portland, died Saturday at her home. She was a native of Nelson County. Survivors: a daughter, Marjorie A. McGuffin; sisters Hazel I. Pletcher, Mary E. Vaught, Dorothy Gibson and Maudie M. Snider, six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Arch L Heady Southern, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Burial: Resthaven Memorial. Visitation: 2-9 p.m. Monday. Memorial gifts: Hospice of Louisville.
