Tony passed away unexpectedly in Westbrook, Maine. Tony ended his work day Monday with a workout at Recon Fitness in Westbrook. He took several classes there, including kickboxing and Muay Thai. His wife said after Monday’s class, he sparred with another member. During the cool-down, he slumped over.
His wife said the exact cause of his death is unknown at this time.

He was born the son of Patty Foley and Darrell D'Agostino. He attended Portland High School graduating in 1994.During his childhood, he spent a lot of time with his grandparents Lawrence and Mary Foley. He attended Portland High School graduating in 1994. Shortly after graduation, he started his own house painting company which he worked hard to maintain and grown into a successful business employing many of his friends over the years. In 2009 he married his best friend, partner in crime, and love of his life Melissa. Although they had known each other from many years they started dating in 2006. They added their beloved dog Sawyer to the family in 2007. They welcomed their son Cohen Ryder in 2011 and daughter Adeline Grace in 2015.

Tony loved his family fiercely. This love often found him spending weekends at the lake, hiking or skiing. Recently, he became very active and loved spending time outdoors. He became obsessed with skiing. What started as fall after fall on the bunny slopes became chasing Cohen and his nephews and niece through the glades. He took up kick boxing and Muay Thai which became an intense passion in which he excelled. When he was a kid he did not like trying new activities. As an adult he wanted to try everything. Melissa often joked no more hobbies. He was known for his loud distinctive laugh and his raucous sense of humor. He was a loyal friend with a charismatic personality that drew in everyone he met. If you weren’t friends with Tony it was only because you hadn’t met him yet.

Tony’s interests were as numerous as they were varied. He was a firm believer in aliens and Big Foot. Tony loved muscle cars, horror movies, Elvis and everything rock and roll. He started playing guitar with his first band Manic Depression in junior high. He went on to play guitar in many bands, released several albums and toured in the US and Europe. After his son Cohen was born he took a break from music for several years. He started playing again recently and would often disappear in the house only to be found working on a new song.

He is survived by his wife Melissa and children Cohen and Adeline. His mother Patty Foley. His father Darrell D’Agostino and his wife Sharon. His mother-in-law Monique Hamilton, Monique's sister Suzanne DuBois, and their brother. His sister-in- law Michelle Lavigne, her husband Dan and their children Will, Jacob and Molly. His uncle Tom Foley and his wife Karen. His aunt Lillian McCaffery. His uncle Larry Foley. His uncle Patrick Foley and his wife Amy, and countless friends.

Visiting hours are Saturday September 1st at Jones, Rich and Barnes 199 Woodford Street in Portland Maine from 10-2. A reception will follow at the Foley residence in Westbrook. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Center for Grieving Children. http://www.cgcmaine.org/
