Born at Antioch, WV; was the son of the late Howard and Margie Doll Coffman.
He was a 1959 graduate of Keyser High School and was employed with General Motors building Buick automobiles in Flint, Michigan for nearly 28 years. He was a member of the Knobley Church of the Brethren, Martin, WV. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, traveling to Northern Michigan and was an avid fan of the Lady Yukons basketball team.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Betty L. Hoover Coffman; five daughters, Fran Hall of Southgate, MI; Teresa Coffman of Burton, MI; Peggy Coffman of Fenton, Mi; Donna Bodkins of Fisher, WV; and Sue Alt (Trent) of Upper Tract, WV; three sons, William E. "Butch" Coffman, Jr. (Karen) of Keyser, WV; Christopher Coffman (Crystal) of Rockville, MD; and Donald Burgess of Mount Storm, WV; 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
