HORSESHOE BEND - Ida "Lee" Cooper Nydegger passed away on December 22, 2017, at home. Lee was born in Lafayette Indiana on August 19, 1937 to the late Bernard and Edna Cooper. Lee's 65 year marriage to Richard W Nydegger began on December 22, 1952 in Rossville, Georgia. Lee retired from Indiana Veterans Home in 1997. She was a member of the Delphi Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband Richard; a son, Rick Nydegger (Carla) of Monticello; four daughters, Toni Hoefer (Terry) of Lafayette, Julie Leavell (Craig) of Lafayette, Mindy Myers (Jay) of Frankfort, and Cindy Newman (David) of Monticello; two brothers, Tom Cooper and Bob Cooper; nine grandchilden and 17 great grandchildren. Lee was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ron "Butch" Cooper.

Friends will be received at Delphi Christian Church 315 E Main Street, Delphi on Friday, December 29th from 2:00 PM until service time at 5:00 PM.
