He was born June 4, 1934, to the late Merton and Louise (Staten) Bain. Dana proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War and retired from Fireman's Fund Insurance.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother, Dennis Bain.
Dana is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Bain; sons, Donnald Dixon (Jamie), Danny Bain, Garvin Bain (Melissa), Tim Bain (Cheryl); daughter-in-law, Monica Dixon; brothers, Bob Bain and Jerry Bain; sister, Sandra "Susie" Delavan (Kenneth); sister-in-law, Kay Bain; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Memorial service is 2 p.m., on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at the Hoy-Kilnoski Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Wings of Hope.
