Charlotte is a 1951 graduate of Fort Recovery High School and later married the love of her life, Kenneth Jean Parks in 1953 and he preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 1990. Mrs. Parks worked for the Ball Memorial Hospital in the Laundry and Surgical Materials departments for 19 years prior to her retirement in 1995. She was a past member of the Mayfield Church of the Mayfield Church of the Nazarene and currently attends the Muncie First Church of the Nazarene and is a member of the sympathy club of the WGE Credit Union.
Charlotte enjoyed traveling and camping with her family, anything outdoors, crocheting and reading. Charlotte loved her family and serving with her cooking, her time and money.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda and Linda; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Esther Gierhart.
Besides her husband of 37 years, Kenneth, she is preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Mark Dill officiating. Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie. Friends may call at the mortuary on Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time.
