Bob was born in Friendship, TN on October 17, 1938 to the late Broadus and Lucille Richardson.
He was a resident of the Ringgold area for 45 years and was very involved in the Boynton Community. He was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. He was self-employed and was the owner of B&B Agency. His enjoyments earlier in life included deep sea fishing, golfing, and hunting. He was a serviceman of the United States Army, sharpshooter qualified. More recently, Bob spent most of his time babysitting his grand and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Aaron and Harry Lee Richardson; daughter in law, Rhonda Richardson.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Margaret Richardson; sons, Bryan (Cindi) Richardson of Cleveland, and Joe Richardson of Ringgold; sister in law, Dina Richardson of Johnson City; brothers, Charles Richardson of Friendship, and Rollen Richardson of Memphis; special brother in law, Ted Lewelling of Knoxville; grandchildren, Josh, Jake, and Jordan Richardson, David Hamill, and Tiffany Gann; great-grandchildren, Devan, Kade, Meleigh, Jace, Charleigh, and Kailyn; and several nieces, nephews, brother in laws, and sister in laws.
Funeral services will be 7 PM Tuesday, August 28 at the Heritage Chapel with Chaplain Pat Davis officiating. A private interment will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
