APRIL 28, 1943 ~ AUGUST 20, 2018 (AGE 75)
Donna Marie (Nelligan) Nielsen, 75, of Carp Lake, passed away quietly in her home Monday, August 20, 2018, surrounded by her beloved dog Sam and her family.
She enjoyed going for rides, gardening (picking her flowers), and dwelled on her beloved dog, Sam.
She is survived by her four children, Marianne (Ryan) Keller, and Dolly (Larry) Kitchen, both of Carp Lake, Patti Bazinaw of Pellston, and Robert (Kelly) Vieau of Walloon Lake, three stepsons, Greg (Sue) Nielsen of Shelby, James (Patti) Nielsen of California, and Kevin (Kathy) Nielsen of Carp Lake, one sister, Irene Crandell, four brothers, Mike Nelligan, Pat (Doris) Nelligan, Ross Hansen, and Robert Hansen, and a sister in law, Myrna (Ron) Weaver of Pentwater. She was loved by her 17 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry L. Nielsen, a son, Daniel H. Nelligan, her mother, Dorothy L. Hansen, and uncle, Howard G. “Doc” Nelligan.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Lakeview Cemetery in Mackinaw City for family and close friends, followed by a luncheon at Donna’s property following the service.
