Patricia was born in Huntington, West Virginia on January 24, 1938 to the late Henry Morgan and Virginia (Meddeker) Smith. She was a loan officer and worked for Avco and later for CITI. She enjoyed sewing, painting, and being crafty. Patricia's greatest joy came from being with her family.
Patricia is survived by her children, Andrea (Jeff) Rajski of Mishawaka, Deneen Leach of South Bend, and Richard (Vicki) Leach of Osceola. She was the proud grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 3. She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Alexander.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday September 4 from 3:30 until 7:30PM. A service celebrating Patricia's life will be held at 7:30PM, with Pastor Terry Staley of New Testament Bible Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kelly Cares Foundation, 1251 N. Eddy St., Ste. 200, South Bend, IN 46617-1478.
