Opera Singer. She graduated from Mount Allison University in 1958 and moved to England under the Lord Beaverbrook Overseas Scholarship, studying piano at the Royal College of Music and sang at the West London Synagogue. She studied for four years in Lugano, Switzerland under Professor Husler. She was awarded a Nova Scotia scholarship, a Canada Council scholarship, a British Council scholarship and the Dame Maggie Tate scholarship for outstanding soprano voice in classical music. Debuted at Glyndebourne Opera,1963, in Monteverdi’s opera “The Coronation of Poppea.” Before her death she had been under contract at the Frankfurt Opera House and Grand Theatre, Geneva.
