Born on Sept. 29, 1952, in Downey, Idaho, to Woodrow and Lois Jensen. She grew up in Kaysville, Utah, and graduated from Davis High School. Shortly after graduation she moved with her family to Fairview, Idaho, and started her career at Presto Products. She worked there for 43 years and gained many valuable friendships over that time. Karen met the love of her life, Carl Marvin Booth, and they were married on June 30, 1978, and later were sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan LDS Temple. She always had a sweet smile and was a friend to everyone. Karen enjoyed family camping trips, family reunions and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, mother and granddaughter Sophia Karen Booth. She is survived by her husband, Carl; children Jason, Brandon (Sarah), Colby (Amber); grandchildren Anfaney, Kayden, Holly, Nicole, Sami, Brennan, Zoey, Alayna, Megan, Lexi; siblings Ned (Kathy) Jensen, Pam (Scott) Parkinson, David (Gay) Jensen, Penny Olsen an Christie (Shorland) Juber.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at noon at the Richmond LDS chapel, 150 S. 100 East. A viewing will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the services.
The family would like to thank the staff and doctors, in particular the caregivers at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, and all of those involved in her valiant fight against cancer.
