Magee Services Thursday
Robert Felix Magee of Nixon,age 78, died Tuesday night at a nursing home in Nixon.
Funeral services for Magee will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Funch Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Clint Harris will officiate.
Interment will be in the Nixon cemetery.
Magee was born Aug. 23, 1898 in Union Valley to Felix and Fannie Magee. Both parents are deceased.
He married Aylean Burkett Dec. 23, 1929 in Manfield, La. She died July 28, 1973.
Magee worked as lumberman for South Texas Lumber Co. of LaFeria, Tex. He was a member of the Nixon United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Robert Lee Magee of Alvin; one brother, A. C. Magee of Roswell, N. M. Two sisters, Mrs. Florence Buck of Slaton and Mrs. George Mills of Stockdale; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
