Kerr, Raymond Lawrence - age 84 of Loudon passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Kerr was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War. He was a master mechanic and enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles.
Mr. Kerr is preceded in death by his parents, Moses Conway and Ressie Irene (Rogers) Kerr; wife Lorene (Viars) Kerr; son, Eddie Kerr; granddaughter, Angela Cox, sister, Irene Dills and daughter-in-law, Leranda (Mason) Kerr.
Survivors include his wife, Mabel Billingsly Kerr; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Jessie Shubert; son, Kenneth Wayne Kerr; grandchildren, Charlie Hampton, Shamiah Hampton, Danny O’Neal, Christy Kerr, Shawn Bowman, Andrea Bowman and Tyler Walters; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Iva Lee Newman, Joyce, Berry and Libby Stephens, several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate Mr. Kerr’s life will be planned at a later date.
