Perry Dwayne Watts, Sr. a native of Denham Springs and resident of French Settlement passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the age of 66.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patty Aime Watts; sons, Dwayne (Jamie), Bryce (Cody), Jason (Denise) and Perry Watts Jr.; sister, Evelle Taylor (Erwin); brothers, Richard “Sonny” (Helen) Watts and Evhon Watts; grandchildren, Kelli Breaux, Blayne Watts, Chase Watts, Braylen Watts, Landen Watts, Breana Watts, Blaise Watts, Brandt Watts, Ace Watts, Kaleb Purvis and Layne Wicker; great-grandchildren, Jayse Breaux and Liam Breaux.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Willie Belle Watts; sisters, Faye Cunningham and Pauline Sibley.

Perry was a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with all of his family but also loved spending time with his “work family” at C.F. Industries. His hobbies included camping, family cookouts and traveling to Tennessee. He loved the mountains and scenery. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation which will be held Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Ourso Funeral Home from 5:00pm – 9:00 pm. The visitation will resume Friday, August 31, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement 9:00 am – 11:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am. The entombment will immediately follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Blayne Watts, Chase Watts, Landen Watts, Kaleb Purvis, Layne Wicker and Tyler Breaux. Honorary Pallbearers include Blaise Watts, Brandt Watts and Ace Watts.
