NIXON -- Vernon Mae Coleman, 82, of Nixon, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2001.
She was born Oct. 6, 1919, in Gonzales County, to the late Loyd F. and May Elizabeth Magee Hobbs. She was a retired nurse's aide and a member of First United Methodist Church in Nixon.
Survivors: sons, Jimmy Coleman of Bedford, Norman Coleman of Nixon and Tommy Coleman of Stockdale; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: husband, Hensley Coleman; parents; and sister, Inez Wiley.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Finch Funeral Chapel.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, the Rev. Ceil McKinney officiating.
Burial will be at Nixon Cemetery. Finch Funeral Chapel, Nixon, 830-582-1521.
