Mrs. Pamela Sue Gibbons Parks, 55, of Yokley Street, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born July 9, 1963 in Forsyth County to the late Early Ray and Nova Lee Simmons Gibbons, she had a love and interest in children and worked in Winston-Salem/Forsyth County schools for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Early Ray Gibbons, Jr., and a sister, Judy Floyd. She is survived by her husband, one son, two stepchildren, one sister, two grandchildren, four nieces, four loving sisters-in-law, and three brothers-in-law (names withheld out of respect for their privacy).
The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 30, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services, officiated by Apostle Khiem Goins, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., followed by entombment in Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 4A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.
