Denver Leo Rauls age 88 years of Fredericktown quietly passed at home on June 21, 2017 as the sun lit up the sky.he is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty Rauls of Fredericktown, his Five children and their spouses Charlotte Steele of Fredericktown, Roy and Barb Rauls of Oak ridge, Joy and Bill Holyworth of Mayfield, Kentucky, Pam and Mark Stamps of Perryville and Troy and Tracy Rauls of Perryville.
His legacy also included Fourteen (14) grandchildren, Thirty – One Great grand grandkids and the dog Cuddles and all the others that considered him Grandpa.
Denver Leo Rauls was born on July 18, 1928 to John Leo and Aline (Parson) Rauls. He was the oldest of seven, leaving school at the age of 12 years to help support the family.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army as Motor Pool Sergeant, loaned out to the Air Force. He began courting Betty (Cook) Rauls while in the service, marrying her on June 28, 1952.
Denver was a man of God, strong faith and abundant smiles. He loved spending his days working in his garden surrounded by his grandkids. He is also survived by loving brothers Gene Rauls of Fredericktown and Jim Rauls of Fredericktown and many nieces and nephews
Denver was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John & Amon and sister Lena Kemp.
