Rev. Willard D. Plunk, 95, of Anderson, passed away on August 24, 2018 at the Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield. He was born on May 29, 1923 in Adamsville, Tennessee and resided most of his life in Anderson.

Willard graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas and Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY.

He retired as the minister of Kingston Avenue Baptist Church in 1991 after 28 years of service.

He was a member of Kingston Avenue Baptist Church, served on the Executive Board of the Indiana Baptist State Convention, and served as moderator for the East Central Baptist Association.

Willard is survived by his loving daughter, Marilyn Wolfe of Grayson, KY; grandson, Stephen (Athena) Wolfe of Anderson; granddaughter, Sarah (Ryan) Ramsburg of Pomeroy, OH; and great-grandchildren, Jack and Sydney Wolfe and Gavin Ramsburg.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary F. Plunk; parents, Frank and Martha Plunk; and four siblings.

Visitation August 27, 2018 at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN.

Services , August 28, 2018 at Kingston Avenue Baptist Church, 5403 Kingston Ave., Anderson, IN 46013, with Pastor Tim Overton and Rev. Brad Storm officiating.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park
