Funeral services will be at First English Lutheran Church, 204 2nd Street N. W., Faribault, on September 8, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend Janet White officiating.
Interment at North Grove Cemetery, Faribault.
Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, 300 Prairie Avenue, Faribault, on September 7, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m. and also at the church for one hour prior to the services.
Jeanette, the daughter of Phillip and Cecilia (Rosener) Nelson, was born on December 27, 1938 in Faribault. She worked for several families in the Twin Cities area as a nanny/housekeeper/cook. She was also a cook at A Child’s Delight until her retirement. Jeanette enjoyed crocheting and baking pumpkin bars. She had a heart of gold and took care of a lot of her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Jeanette was a caring person who was there to help everyone. She will be missed.
She is survived by her five siblings, Chuck (and Shirley) Nelson, Sandy Krenske, Carol (and Larry) Meyer, Doug (and Deb) Nelson all of Faribault and David (and Dorothy) Nelson of Appleton, WI; two sisters-in-law, Dee Nelson of Milwaukee, WI and Darlene Nelson of Mason City, IA; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five siblings, Don Nelson, Allen Nelson, Barb (and Bob) Wolfe, Phyllis (and George) Motylinski and Delores (and Leonard) Chesney; and one brother in law, Robert Krenske.
