David Bland, 72, of Ashland, passed away Feb. 20, 2018, in Crystal Care of Coal Grove.
Mr. Bland was born Feb. 21, 1945, in Flatwoods, to the late Oscar and Virgie Bland.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one, son Anthony Bland; one brother, Jimmy Bland; and one brother-in-law, James Blankenship.
David was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He enjoyed rooting for University of Kentucky Basketball team and in his younger years was an avid baseball card and model car collector.
