Eva Holt Isaacs Miller, 63 of Sanford, NC., formerly of West Point, VA., passed away August 27, 2018 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, NC after a long battle with lung disease. Eva was an amazing woman, a Mom to many, a friend to everyone and a fighter for the weak and the strong. She left behind a legacy in every life she touched. Her smile would brighten any cloudy day. She will always be our sunshine. Love you to the moon and back. Eva is survived by her three children, Stephanie Renee Wade (Aaron), Joseph “Joey” Christopher Pitts and Brittany Marie Albright (David); six amazing grandchildren, Lilah, Robert “RJ”, Phillip “PJ”, Gabriel, Aidan and Calope. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Friday August 31 at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, VA with burial following in Sunny Slope Cemetery, West Point, VA. The family will receive friends for a celebration of Eva’s life following the graveside service Friday from 5-7 PM at her daughter Renee’s home located in West Point. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to two special organizations close to Eva’s heart.
