Jonathan Blake Hall
August 14, 1983 ~ August 22, 2018

Our beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend, Jonathan Blake Hall, age 35, returned to his Heavenly Father on August 22, 2018 at McKay Dee Hospital from the effects of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Blake was born on August 14, 1983 to Kenneth T. Hall and Colleen F. Weller in Ogden, Utah. He earned his Eagle Scout at the age of 14. He graduated from Fremont High School in 2002, where he participated and lettered in tennis, cross country, debate and band. High school is where he acquired the endearing nickname, "Wag," which he has affectionately been known by for years.

After high school, he earned a Business Technology certificate from the DATC and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Houston Texas East Mission from 2002-2004.

Following his mission, he became a man-on-the-street TV interviewer for the Crowd Surfing program on Channel 17 while attending Weber State University working toward a major in Integrated Studies.

Blake loved to be involved in sports and was always looking for a pick-up basketball game, a hiking buddy, someone to watch a Raptor's game with, or cheering on his favorite teams the Cleveland Indians, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Utah Jazz.

He was currently working as an Independent Life Coach and fulfilling his incessant need to tap out a rhythm through drumming in the local band, No Manana. He was honored to work as the band's music promoter. Friends and family were always Blake's top priority. He was willing to drop anything to be there for anyone. He will be greatly missed. But we know he would want us to follow his life motto and: Rock On!

Surviving are his parents, Kenneth T. Hall and Colleen F. Hall, Harrisville; his sisters, Melissa (Jeff) Fredrickson, South Ogden; Sarah Hall, Harrisville and Oona (John) Orr, Walnut Creek, California; grandmother, Elfonda Weller, Ogden; his special niece and nephews, Tucker, Addison, Cooper and Hudson; and other aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his beloved cats: Mr. Boo, Panda and 8 ball.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Donna Hall, and Ralph E. Weller; his aunts, Lori Ann Falk and Karen Walker; his uncle Brent Weller; and cousins, Todd Butterfield Ray and Justin Hall.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at the Harrisville Stake Center 1560 North 200 West, North Ogden from 10 to 10:40 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. Interment in the Ben Lomond Cemetery.

We wish to thank the Drs. and staff at McKay Dee ICU for their compassion and professionalism.
