John passed away on August 18, 2018 at the age of 94. John was born on June 5, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio to Carl S. Waugh and Mary Belden, the youngest of three schildren. Beloved husband for 62 years to Virginia Waugh who passed away in 2013. Survived by children Barbara Nigh and Gary Waugh, three grandchildren, Johnny Nigh, Michael Nigh and Michelle Waugh.
While attending Ohio State University, John joined the Army Air Force and served as a Radar Technician. After being honorably discharged John returned to Ohil State Univerisy and completed his degree in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. John worked for Ohio Brass after graduating from college in Mansfield, Ohio. In 1957, John accepted a job at Aerojet in California where he worked as an aerospace engineer until he retired in 1987.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on August 31, 2018, at Fair Oaks Cemetery, 7780 Olive Street, Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
