David Lawrence Garrison, 81, a resident of Riceville, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018 at an Athens health care facility. He was born August 14, 1937 in Dayton, OH to the late Harold and Helen Kuebler Garrison. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his previous wife, Pauline Bunch Garrison; wife, Charlotte "Bobbie" Garrison; son, David Michael Garrison; and siblings, Gordon Garrison, Joyce Ann Dalton, and Gregory Garrison; Survivors include his children, Theresa Ulen and husband, Randy, Kevin Garrison and wife, Tina, Brian Garrison and wife, Heather, Pam Choate and husband, Ben, Anna Ruth Bay and husband, Murray, and Deborah Stacey and husband, Al; siblings Karen Glaze and husband, Terry, and Michael Garrison; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and special friends, Joan Sparks and Norman Goldman. The funeral will be Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home with Pastor Guinn Green officiating. The interment will follow in McMinn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
