Violet Marie Davis, 92, Ramsey, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon. Born Sept. 28, 1925, at the family farm near Ramsey, she was the daughter of the late Noble H. and Ada Wurm Flock.
She was a homemaker, secretary for the Old Lake Club and a member of Ramsey-Spencer Grange No. 2215, Spencer Township Home Demonstration Club and Unity Chapel United Methodist Church near Ramsey.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jay W. Davis; two brothers, Kenneth and Claude Flock; and two sisters, Ethel M. Davis and Helen Hickman.
Survivors include three daughters, Stella Johnston (John) of Indianapolis, Rebecca Smith (Ronald) of Ramsey and Pamela Davis of Salem; four grandchildren, Jacqui Johnston, John Johnston Jr. (Lana), Lana Schroeder and Sara Morris (Rich); eight great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Alice Flock of Ramsey.
