Carolyn Haithcock Hale passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2018, at the Moore-Rose Funeral Home Chapel in Floydada. Interment will follow at the Floydada Cemetery. Services are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada.
She was born October 28,1931 in Duncan, Oklahoma and moved to Lockney, Texas with her mother in 1934. In 1947 they moved to Plainview, Texas. Carolyn graduated from Texas Tech in 1952 and married Bill Hale of Floydada on June 21, 1952. After Bill's stint in the Air Force and finishing college they moved to Floydada and made their home there.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother Willie Merle Haithcock, husband Bill and a granddaughter.
She is survived by her three sons and their wives, Richard and Gail Hale of Garland, Steve and Karen Hale of Denton, and Mike and Mitzi Hale of Richardson; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
