A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Beulah Primitive Baptist Church, with interment to follow in Beulah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Harvey Funeral Home.
J.B. was born in Americus, Georgia on September 1, 1945. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Atkinson Davis, Jr. and Christine West Davis and his daughter, Dawn Delynn Davis. Survivors include his wife of twenty-four years, Bessie Satterfield Davis; children, James B. Davis, Jr., Mark Eugene Davis and Duane Cleo Davis; siblings, Steve D. Davis, William R. Davis, Mary R. Parker, Glenn E. Davis and Carol A. Davis; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
