Anthony Darrin Craft, “Skipper”, 56, passed away Monday, August 20, 2018. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 9, 1961 to the union of Marvin J. Craft and Marjorie Craft-Phillips.

Skipper was educated in the Cincinnati Public School system and attended Hughes High School. He was an awesome athlete and loved football and basketball. His interests were welding and shop. Skipper loved watching television and playing video games. He was a hard worker and believed in “God blesses the child that had his own”. His final position was at Mechanical Finishers, Inc.

Anthony will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Marjorie Craft-Phillips; aunt, Diane (Harry); siblings, Marvin, Aaron (Mandy), Dwayne (Arletha), Andrewnette (Larry); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was proceeded in death by his father, Marvin J. Craft; grandmothers, Daisy Craft and Margaret Jones; grandfather, Wilson C. Jones; and three aunts, Mary Green, Parry Freeman and Margaret Sweeney.

Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2018 in James Temple Church of God in Christ, 1116 Lincoln Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206 with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

Burial: Spring Grove Cemetery. Final arrangements entrusted to the care of the Jerry W. Kinley Funeral Home.
