Janis Calvert Eubanks

Janis Eubanks, of Colleyville, Texas, passed away on August 24 in Grapevine. To those who knew and loved her, she will always be remembered as a loving mother, wife, friend, and most importantly to her, follower of her Lord Jesus Christ.
She was born on November 16, 1949 in Dallas to James and Shirley Calvert.
Janis loved games, was an avid sports fan and follower of the Cowboys and Aggies (though not always in that order), and supported her children and grandchildren in all of their endeavors on court and field and stage.
Janis is survived by her husband, John Eubanks, of Colleyville; her mother, Shirley Calvert-Laughlin, of Grapevine; daughter Megan Featherston, of Hudson, Ohio and son Parker; son Christopher Renshaw and wife Lena, of Arlington; daughter Tara Griffith and husband Steve, of Overland Park, Kansas and children Sophia, Tessa, and Campbell; daughter Lisa Roberts and husband Jeremy, of Euless and children Luke and Kate; son John David Eubanks and wife Jackie, of Haslet and children J.D., Hallie, and Brady; her brother Jim Calvert and family; brother Paul Calvert and family; and sister Mary Humphrey and family; sister-in-law Julie Rowland and family; sister-in-law Cynthia Foltermann and family; brother-in-law Harold Eubanks and family; and brother-in-law Charlie Eubanks and family.
There was so much family, and she had such love for them all.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Calvert; her mother-in-law, Mae Adell Eubanks; and her grandson Reagan Renshaw.
The visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30pm on Monday, August 27 at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, August 28 at First Baptist Church, Colleyville.
Interment will follow in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park.
