Cecilia "Cissy" (Fouga) Miller

Appleton - Cissy passed away August 18, 2018 following a brief illness. Born on February 23, 1932 in San Antonio, TX to Robert and Cecilia Fouga. She lived her adult life in Appleton. Dear wife of Gilbert "Gib" Miller who survives her.

Cissy was a true artist, creating beauty with whatever she touched. Her talents included cooking, sewing, gardening, painting and carving. Together with Gib they operated Miller Creek Crafts for many years. In her youth she sang professionally in San Antonio TX. As an active Mom she became a Girl Scout leader and spent countless hours serving her church community of First Congregational Church of Appleton. Her kids and grandkids were gifted with wedding cakes and dresses, carvings and christening gowns and our yards all bloom with the gifts from her garden. Gib, her husband of 44 years, always had a full belly from the delicious meals she prepared daily.

Surviving Cissy is her husband Gib, her children Karla (Philip) Dee, Houston; Becky (Mark) Piette, Rothschild; Don (Heidi) Van Ryzin, Appleton; and Jason (Laurie Esquivel), Menasha and her step children Gregg (Debbie) Miller, Appleton; Jayne (David) Williams, Flagstaff; Nan (Bard) Rozelle, Appleton; and Giff (Becky) Miller, Greenville. Her sister-in-law Grace Fouga, Katy, Texas; and her brother-in-law Marvin (Barbara) Miller, Madison. Cissy is further survived by her 19 grandkids and 26 great grandkids and counting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband's parents; George and Ethel Miller, step daughter Kristine Coffey and her brothers Aldolfo "Buddy" and Robert Fouga.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond Street, Appleton with Pastor Stephen Savides officiating. Cissy's family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
