Big Timber Lady Dies Suddenly At Billings
News reached here last week of the death at Billings of Mrs. Gina Ness, who had gone there a short time before expecting to procure work. Deceased was a victim of epilepsy and had had frequent attacks. Once a week or oftener she had written her mother here and just before her death had obtained a position and expected to begin work the next day. Her death ended a letter she had started to relatives here but which was left unfinished.
Funeral services were held here Tuesday at the Lutheran church, interment being in Mountain View.
Gina Ness was born in Jackson, Minn., May 20, 1888; she was here also baptized and confirmed. Her parents were Nils Volden and Maren Volden. In 1912 she moved to Montana where part of her folks had gone previously. She died Oct. 14, 1920, at the age of 32 years, 4 months and 24 days. She leaves her mother in Montana, a husband and two children in California, and three sisters and three brothers four of which are in Montana, one in Portland Ore., and one in Wyoming.
