He was born on July 4, 1937, in Carbondale, the son of Robert M. and Thelma M. Grant Horn.
He is survived by his three brothers, Gene F. (Judith) Horn of Cobden, Donald R. Horn of Texas and Paul L. (Patricia) Horn of Cobden: two sisters, Juanita M. Alstat of Du Quoin and Sharon K. Austin of Montgomery, Ala.; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four siblings, Robert J. (Gloria) Horn, Rosemary (Lawrence) Woolard, James D. Horn and Gerald D. Horn.
Graveside memorial services for Mr. Horn will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Carbondale at a later date. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Gallatin Manor.
