Brandon J. Stevens, 8, a resident of Sterling Heights/Calumet, Michigan, passed away July 13, 2004, at the Keweenaw Memorial Medical Center where he had been a patient for several hours, following an accident.

He was born on November 27, 1995 in Corpus Christi, Texas, a son of Perry and Melissa (Thyrion) Stevens. He would have entered the fourth grade this fall.

He was a member of the Prince of Glory Lutheran Church in Sterling Heights.

Preceding him in death was a sister, Amanda, in August of 2001.

Surviving were his parents, Melissa Thyrion of Calumet, Perry (Dana) Stevens of Sterling Heights; his maternal grandmother, Diane (Paul) Mickalich-Nakkula of Lac La Belle; his maternal grandfather, Norbert (Leslie) Thyrion of Houghton; his paternal grandparents, Henry "Chicky" and Carole Stevens of Trimountain, Butch and Diane VanderMolen of Grand Rapids, Mich.; a sister, Megan of Sterling Heights; a brother, John Gamez of Calumet; 11 special friends, Jay, Aaron, Danny, Nick, Shane, Sara, Brendan, Evan, Angela, Kristin and Paul; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
