Mr. Marshall, 80, of Pineville, passed from this life on Wed, August 1, 2018 at his home.

Ray proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. While stationed in Kansas he met the love of his life and they have been happily married for the past 57 years. He always promised to build her a house when they got married. After their children were grown, he fulfilled that dream and they were able to enjoy their home these past 30 years until moving to Pineville last year to be close to their children. His son-in-law taught him the love of raising bees after retiring. This new job brought in so much joy to meet new friends, share his knowledge, and teach others about bee keeping. Ray’s love for the Lord was very important to him and sharing about Jesus. He touched the hearts of many and his memory will be cherished.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus Marshall and Margurite Robinson and sister, Joyce Stovall.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 57 years, Sharon Marshall; daughters, Sheri Waldo (Keith) and Christine Holy (Chuck); brothers, Gene Marshall (Iva) and Rufus Marshall (Janey); sister, Betty Kyle; grandchildren, Chrystal Luneau (Chris), Stephen Jones (Beverly), Leah Tomaz (Scott), Nathan Jones, Jacob Brown (Kara), Kayleigh Jones, Timothy Jones and Trusten Holy; great grandchildren, Emma, Lily, Evelynn, Addison, Annie Kay, JR and Nicholas and a host of other family members and friends.
