Bobby Warren McCoy, 70, of Odessa, died Thursday, August 23, 2018 in a Big Spring hospital.

Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene.

He was born July 22, 1948 in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Bobby served in the United States Army, serving two tours in Viet Nam, and was discharged in 1973 as a Staff Sergeant.

He then moved to Odessa and worked for El Paso Products and retired from Huntsman Corporation after 25 years. Bobby was a Baptist.

Survivors include one daughter, Gayla Allen of Vernon; two sons, David Shawn McCoy of Las Vegas and Bobby Shay McCoy of Dallas; two sisters, Bonnie Cotten of Odessa and Beverly Seay of Whiteface; and one brother, Brooks McMahen of Odessa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Connie Chambliss McCoy.
